SOSPESO by Mauro Loverre
"Sospeso" (2023), produced by LDP Entertainment with the support of Film Commission Torino Piemonte, is an award-winning dramatic movie, which deals with the theme of schizophrenia.
Martino is a professional photographer who is working with a colleague on a nocturnal animals’ documentary about the tawny owl, a bird of prey very widespread in the forests of Piedmont.
Martino leaves with his equipment and a tent for a research in the woods around the area of Turin but, after his arrival, he discovers a tombstone. From this moment on, disturbing and hard to understand events begins to take place. Seeking shelter in his tent, on the verge of insanity, he will wait for a dawn that will never show up.
Hunger, exhaustion and even his own escape attempt, after three days of darkness, will drag him into his past, that is going to interlace with the drama of Nadia, a drug addict in her 50s who lives a miserable life in the outskirts of Turin.

LDP Entertainment: film production company
LDP Entertainment is a film production company and a record label specialized in the development, production and distribution of audio-visual products for the international market and in the creation of soundtracks for every kind of project.
The company was founded in 2017 and in the same year it produced and distributed the thriller short film Musicomancy (by Mauro Loverre), winner of five awards, including Best Suspense Short Film, Best Lead Actress and Best Editing in various international film festivals and currently distributed on Amazon Prime Video.
In 2021, in collaboration with KTZ Production and Adrama, LDP Entertainment coproduced the feature film Baby Doll (by Manfe Lozial), a horror comedy distributed by the American ITN Distribution.
Sospeso (by Mauro Loverre) is a dramatic feature film produced in 2022, in competition in the best international world film festivals at present.
